Day 4 Denver to Kansas City, KS/MO
Long day in the drivers seat. About 9 hours of very flat boring wheat and corn fields. Its flat out there folks. I never appreciated how flat it is on the eastern slop of Colorado but on a clear day you can truly see forever. Kansas is about the same with a few rolling hills, mounds actually, to break up the view.
Staying at the Argosy Hotel and Casino. A very elegant place. Had a good steak last night and visited with an old friend. Very nice.
Ready to get on the road again heading to Lexington, Kentucky. Another long day but maybe something out there to take pictures of, we'll see.
Sounds like a good time. I would have loved to be on the trip across this beautiful land. We miss you already. Have fun.
