Lexington to Washington about 8 hours of driving through Kentucky, West Virgina, and Virgina's lush and green forested country side. The country changed drasticly as we road east. Rolling farm lands of Kentucky and large expanses of horse lands with the classic white fences and red painted stables.The terrain changes in West Virgina to a series of grand valleys and hills broken up with creeks and rivers. Virgina flattens out on the east side of the Blue Ridge Mountains and moves through the Shenandoah Valley. Back to the traffic jams of the big city. Ya.
